Associate Payments Product Manager Intern
The eCommerce team is responsible for supporting and optimizing online checkout, supporting new product introductions, and increasing online revenue overall. You will report directly to the Digital Payments Product Manager within the Digital & Online organization for Zoom's Marketing Department. The team is a blend of program management, UX designers, and products supported by legal, FP&A, data science, and engineering counterparts. We work in a Scrum Methodology to deliver web features and improvements in monthly releases.
Our Global Emerging Talent Intern Program offers additional support through dedicated mentorship, technical trainings, a leadership speaker series and team specific events. This paid internship is for a duration of 12 weeks during the summer of 2023. The program offers cutting edge projects, as well as a mix of additional types of learning in areas of leadership and business acumen-- and is packed full of fun!
Position Responsibilities:
What you will do:

• Understanding business need and drive Figma design with UX Designers for new Payment method to be supported online
• Assist in managing and ideating payments initiatives and projects, specifically around new payment method, authorization rate optimization, and involuntary churn
• Hold stakeholder meetings and gather requirements across teams (Including but not limited to Online Team, Data Science Team, Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Engineering Team, Design Team, and other eCommerce Program Managers)
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams as needed for updates and progress
• Write business requirements and create jira tickets
• Gain project management experience through a project lifecycle including discovery, planning, design, admin, customer surveying, engineering execution, QA, and success measurement
• Help drive concrete outcomes and completion of projects and tasks across Payment initiatives
• Maintain consistent and organized project timelines and updates

Include position requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Basic Google Suite skills
• Extremely organized
• Comfortable understanding data
• Project management skills
• Ability to prioritize in a fast paced highly demanding environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Currently enrolled in a four year academic institution completing an undergrad, grad or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field

Bonus Qualifications:

• SQL
• Tableau
• Prior Product Management experience preferable
