The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Raytheon Global Financial Services - Global Payroll Solutions, Strategy and Transformation Team is looking for a full-time Payroll Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and implementation of projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets. In this position, you will drive best practices and process optimization projects in payroll operations and systems to deliver value to Raytheon Technologies.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within and across multiple projects
• Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
• Report project outcomes and risks to the appropriate management channels as needed, escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
• Manage all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure for multiple projects of varied complexity
• Create project plans, including deliverables, activities, and timelines
• Analyze project progress and when necessary, adapt scope timelines and costs to ensure the project team adheres to project requirements
• Ensures all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
• Work collaboratively with other departments impacting the project
• Lead communication with stakeholders and team members through the completion of the project
• Presents to functional leadership regarding the status of projects and options to address critical issues, while managing project costs to budget.
• Develops close working relationships to provide insightful recommendation and guidance to improve the current processes, achieve efficiency and cohesiveness to optimize end to end business processes
• Oversees the development of requirements documentation and related technical specifications to address business needs: system implementations or enhancements, regulatory changes, process/policy modifications, technology upgrades, etc.
• Ensures the implementation of PMO governance, project measurement and monitoring, and controls required to monitor the overall health of the project and performance to the business case
• Leads the effort with the project team to develop risk and issue mitigation to meet productivity, quality, and organizational goals

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience with common Payroll and/or Finance systems gained in a large corporate setting
• Experience with project management tools and structured methodologies
• Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills for handling multiple and conflicting activities
• Expertise with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Visio
• Capacity to effectively manage a team
• Collaborative and agile approach to work
• A highly detailed individual with a sense of urgency and strong prioritization skills
• Ability to make strategic decisions and proven success communicating effectively to all levels throughout the organization
• Ability to show a high degree of initiative; ability to drive change to promote functional productivity and efficiency
• Demonstrated effective project management skills to ensure delivery on time, to budget
• Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Experience working with HR, Timekeeping and/or Payroll data

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience with ADP, EV5 and/or Workday
• Experience in large scale system implementation efforts following a standard software development lifecycle approach
• Minimum 5+ years in project management
• PMP or equivalent professional project management certification
• Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management

Required Education and Experience:

• This role typically requires a Bachelor's degree in information technology, accounting, finance, or related field and 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and 3 or more years of experience

US Citizenship:

• This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
• This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Location:

• This position is full-time remote, or hybrid (remote & onsite) based in a Raytheon Technologies corporate or business unit location.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
