About the Job- Global People & Culture Intern
As a member of our Global People team, the Global People & Culture (GP&C) Intern will discover a rewarding, cross-functional internship experience focused on empowering our Team Members. Dawn’s Inspire Internship Program offers capable students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of the Global Bakery Industry. With over 100 years of expertise, Dawn provides a platform for interns to experience our vibrant company culture, embrace our core values, and gain valuable knowledge for their future careers.
Dawn Inspire Internship Program interns will benefit from:

This is a remote opportunity with a blend of on-site experiences and remote accessibility. Our global headquarters are located within Jackson, Michigan. Â

What Does It Take to be an Intern at Dawn Foods?Â
Below are the minimum qualifications for the Dawn Inspire Internship Program.
- Must be pursuing a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (i.e., Human Resources, Labor Relations, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related discipline).
- Strong interest for working within the Consumer Product Goods or Food industry.
- Current academic status must reflect good performance in relation to institutional academic standards.
- Basic knowledge of relevant concepts, principles and tools as demonstrated by completion of relevant coursework.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

What You'll Do as an Intern
- Coordinate and deliver assigned GP&C project work.
- Conduct research on assigned People projects and present potential solutions to the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Team Members to brainstorm ideas and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
- Shadow and learn from experienced professionals in your field of interest.
- Actively seek opportunities to learn and develop new skills relevant to your career goals.
- Take initiative to suggest process improvements and contribute innovative ideas.
- Demonstrate the “Dawn Values” of Team Dawn and support our culture throughout the duration of the Internship Program.Â
- Identified GP&C projects that you will be responsible for include, but may not be limited to:
- Enhance our professional development resources and toolkits to support our Team Members’ continuous learning and career advancement progress.
- Improve Team Member experiences within critical moments of our employee lifecycle.
- Contribute unique perspective and input to ongoing Global People & Culture initiatives.

Work Environment

- Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity.
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects 25 pounds. Â

Compensation:
- Undergraduate - $20/hr
- Graduate - $22/hr
