What you will be doing
Job Responsibilities
HR Administration and ComplianceĀ
- Running and managing payroll by inputting amendments and adjustments into our payroll systems in NL, US, and world-wide remote through our EOR provider.
- Processing of pay increases, promotions, and any other contractual amendments by drafting addendums, filing signed documents, and updating our payroll and HRIS systems.Ā
- Processing visa applications, residency permits and relocations on a global scale, as well as managing applications for 30% ruling for Highly Skilled Migrant residence permits in NL.
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Find efficiencies and synergies between systems.
- Prepare and Distribute HR-related reports and metrics.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all locations where the company operates.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from across the business, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Administration and reporting on time off (PTO, public holidays, parental leave, sick leave, bereavement etc.). Ensuring timely feedback to our finance team when employees reach a certain threshold of built up PTO balance.
- Administration of employee benefits in both our offices in the US and NL.Ā
- Organize and manage company shares through Carta for all new hires, leavers and promotions
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle process, from employee onboarding to employee departures, keeping our payroll platforms and HRIS system up to date at all times.
Employee Onboarding and Exit processes
- Ensure that new hires have a smooth transition into the business. Full ownership of the onboarding process; manage onboarding tasks, new hire presentations, welcome experience, company swag, probationary period check ins with managers and documentation. Prepare offer documentation and employment contracts globally.
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle process, from employee onboarding to employee departures, keeping our payroll platforms and HRIS system up to date at all times.
- Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback from departing employees.
- Manage the off-boarding process.
- Ensure a smooth transition and knowledge transfer for departing employees.
HR Projects and InitiativesĀ
- Participate in HR-related projects such as policy development, process improvements, and HR system implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives to support organizational and team goals.
- Stay updated on HR trends and Dutch legislation, as well as best practices to continuously improve HR processes and programs.Ā
Training and Development
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Develop training materials and resources as needed.
- Identify opportunities for employee growth and career development.
Performance managementĀ
- Assist HR senior management with performance improvement plans and provide guidance to managers and employees.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs or initiatives.
- Assist HR senior management with Performance Reviews where needed.
Employee Engagement and WellnessĀ
- Develop and Implement initiatives to promote employee wellness and work-life balance.
- Monitor employee satisfaction and morale and propose strategies for improvement.Ā
Employee RelationsĀ
- Act as a point of contact for employees' inquiries and concerns.
- Work with HR senior management to mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions between employees or between employees and management.
- Promote a positive work culture and foster employee engagement initiatives.
About You
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a global tech organization.
- Prior experience with Dutch immigration laws and processes.
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Knowledge of global employment laws and regulations
- Dutch language proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
