 About this opportunity – Global Planning Manager

Description

The Global Planning Manager will lead and influence demand and supply planning strategies in order to maximize customer service level and optimize inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Demand Planning for the US & APAC regions
• Responsible for inventory planning and optimization
• Lead Supply planning for the Irvine facility made products
• Key player in the Sales & Operations Planning
• Will support the deployment of an Advanced Planning System and then become a critical owner of the application
• Interfaces with commercial & marketing teams to develop forecast, create inventory strategies and resolve supply demand issues impacting revenue, customer delivery, and margin.
• Interfaces with Irvine manufacturing team on increased / decreased capacity needs as well as imbalance vs. demand
• Work closely with customer service and fulfilment to ensure order book adheres to forecast expectations and buying calendar rules.
• Collaborate with global teams to reach mutually acceptable solutions to complex problems which arise.
• Create standard and non-standard reporting for projects and leaders based on data.

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, Education, Statistics, MBA, Mathematics, Business/Administration, Industrial Engineering

Skills:

• Demonstrate strong communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage and successfully meet goals and objectives related to customer service, inventory levels in context of the Sales & Operations Planning process.
• At ease with analytics
