The role

As the Global Platform Practice Lead, you will play a crucial role in establishing and growing the Platform Practice and Global Center of Excellence across the Americas and EU. Our platform practice focuses on delivering cutting-edge content and commerce projects, utilizing leading technologies such as MACH tools (Contentstack, Contentful), DXPs (Optimizely, AEM), and Commerce technologies (SAP Commerce, VTEX).

Role responsibilities

• Creation of Global Center of Excellence:
  • Evaluate the current state of platform expertise, capabilities, ongoing projects, and processes for platform projects
  • Identify and assign subject matter experts (SMEs) within the platform practice to provide support for sales, project delivery, and overall organizational needs.
  • Creation of global delivery model for DXP and Componentised Solutions.

• Talent Strategy:
  • Formulate and execute a talent strategy aligned with Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy
  • Identify and develop talent across all roles/functions essential for successful delivery on platform projects. Collaborate with partnership teams to align on technical training strategies for certifications.
  • Create a partner network of expertise to execute in areas that are outside core skillsets

• Sales Enablement & Support:
  • Provide oversight into sales pursuits, ensuring alignment with the overall platform strategy.
  • Develop team models and staffing strategies that optimize resource allocation and project success.

• Quality Assurance and Delivery Excellence:
  • Establish a structured framework to support quality assurance and delivery excellence on platform engagements.
  • Creates a proactive approach to project health and creating pathways to project success.
  • Creation of best practices, delivery methodologies/playbooks & approaches to be leveraged on engagements.

Minimum qualifications

• 10+ years experience leading a practice or business unit within a professional services organization
• 10+ years in consulting services
• 10+ years experience delivering software and leading CMS & Commerce platform technology solutions, including: Contentful, Contentstack, Optimizely DXP (formerly Episerver), Adobe/AEM, SAP Commerce, VTEX.  
• Experience navigating global teams and creating global delivery models.
• Strong understanding of platform technologies, project management, organizational development

Preferred qualifications

• Experience building a practice from the ground up
