About the Team
The Presales Readiness Strategy team supports the field, providing deep domain and industry expertise, meaningful and value driven demo stories, demo content and sales assets that drive elite presales performance within Workday's organization.
About the Role
As a Presales Readiness Technology Strategist, you'll play a key role on the global Presales Readiness Strategy team. You will be part of an organization that directly impacts our sales and business success. This team is passionate about supporting presales to ensure they have what they need to say and show across new products, features, and solution focused demos.
Your mission is to be the technology expert, supporting the Presales technical solution consultants/sales engineers, across multiple industries. Work closely with the Product Management, Marketing, and Competitive Intelligence teams to identify enablement, demo, and solution story needs for Workday's new products, features, and acquisitions.
You will be an inspiring leader building meaningful relationships with leadership and a reputation for being a Technology thought leader. Collaborate with key business stakeholders across presales operations, marketing, sales, solution architecture, product, industry and other teams, and field sales leadership in each region.

Main responsibilities
- Collaborate with Technical Enablement to support the Technical Solution Consulting/Sales Engineer Community.
- Work with Product Management, Solution Marketing, Presales Senior Leadership and Sales to identify and define enablement needs for new products, features, and acquisitions. Facilitate sessions ensuring a small group of Presales early adopters are enabled to demo prior to product/feature release.
- Assist in the definition of success by program managing a team that sets the standard for how our technology is demonstrated in Presales.
- Define and develop demo stories, demo content and other assets based on unique industry and persona based opportunities to ensure we are delivering meaningful value to customers.
- Evaluate the business impact of sales assets, demos and enablement through use of performance metrics/trends and present these to presales leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years in an enablement, presales, or delivery role supporting the sale of Enterprise Software
- 10+ years in technical solution consulting/sales engineering, Information Technology, Implementation Services, or other relevant experience related to the Office of CIO
Other Qualifications
- Proven Experience working with Healthcare, Retail, Public Sector, Media, Technology or other relevant industry
- Experience managing cross-functional partnerships
- Experience developing and configuring demos
- Ability to use data analysis to drive recommendations
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
