Global Product Manager (7 Months Contract)

Let’s talk about the team:

As a Global Product Manager within our Consumer Hardware team, you will be responsible for sustaining ResMed’s respiratory care devices in market, you will be in a unique position to directly impact the lives of healthcare providers and consumers, and thus possess both customer empathy and technical nous. PMs work in dynamic cross functional team and collaborate with many other teams globally.

As Global Product Manager on an initial 7-month fixed term engagement, you will drive respiratory care product and marketing inputs associated with enhancement, and sustaining activities. By building strong relationships with Regional Product Marketing teams, stakeholders and various other teams, you will play a key role in driving commercial success, and help improve patient outcomes.

This position can be based in either Sydney or Singapore.

Let’s talk about Responsibilities:

• Sustain / manage the product lifecycle of assigned products through product management activities to ensure continual supply and appropriate product obsolescence plans.
• Manage mature products within assigned portfolio throughout their lifecycle, including post-market support, product improvements, ensure supply continual, regulatory compliance, cost down initiatives, and obsolescence.
• Facilitate the communication of global competitive activities and products to the product development project teams and the regions
• Assist the solicitation and analysis of input from relevant sources and drive the preparation of requirements for the assigned projects
• Leads a cooperative effort among members of a project team.
• Frequently leads sub-functional teams
• Serves as a best practice resource within own area of work.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or an Engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in Product Management, ideally within Medical Device industry
• Skilled at contributing to hardware related discussions and being able to provide articulate input on proposals and plans.
• Seasoned at presenting data, and actively managing the expectations of Global and Regional senior management, as required.
• Balancing presentation and communication styles to suit the vast scope of stakeholders e.g. working on a project engaging regional commercial teams and liaising with product development, medical affairs and manufacturing. 
• Resilient, open, collaborative and innovative ‘growth’ mindset.
• Intensely curious to think outside-of-the-box and challenge the norms.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and work remotely as some team members are based in global offices
