Global Product Manager (Hybrid - El Segundo, CA)

Job Description

As a Global Product Manager at Belkin, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product portfolio through innovative research and development strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage the assigned product line, driving forward our commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, while also ensuring a keen focus on meeting the financial growth goals of Belkin. To be successful in this role, a "can do" attitude is a must with a passion for cutting edge technology.

Our hybrid work model allows you to work from home and take advantage of our brand-new HQ in El Segundo at any time. Many of us spend 2-3 days in the office per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Portfolio Development: Drive the strategic development of the assigned/new product line by identifying market trends, consumer needs, and emerging technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and create cutting-edge products that meet future market demands. Own the product lifecycle from conception to market introduction.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancement, refinement, or new product development.
• Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the company's long-term vision and growth objectives. Ensure that the roadmap reflects a strong emphasis on research-driven innovation and fiscal opportunity.
• Innovation: Allocate resources and budget effectively for research and development initiatives, prioritizing projects with the highest potential for innovation and market impact.
• Collaborate: Create and oversee end-to-end support resources throughout the entire product lifecycle to enable seamless execution by cross-functional teams. This includes collaborative support and coordination with Industrial Designers, Engineers, Program Managers, Partner Relations, Marketing, and Sales.
• Market Recognition: Work tirelessly to position the assigned product line as an industry leader in terms of value, quality, selection, innovation, features, reliability, and ease of use. Assess business opportunity, including total addressable market size, Belkin opportunity size, financial opportunity, to build a robust business case.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of experience (e.g., business, engineering, product management, product/Industrial design).
• Proven 4-5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on research and development.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Strong financial acumen / business strategy
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to think strategically and drive innovation.

Range for this position:

$95,000 - $110,000

Factors such as geographic location, academic credentials, relevant experience, and specific knowledge, skills and abilities will influence the actual salary offered. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, compensation also includes a performance-based bonus, and in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
