About this Role

We are seeking a Global Product Specialist: Centrifugal Chillers & Systems. These systems are used in some of the most important building and industrial projects around the globe. You will create and execute technical sales strategies for across the globe.

Responsibilities include all aspects of the creation and delivery of sales strategies to the global selling organization. Drive the sales organization to make sure they are knowledgeable and articulate on the products, tools and strategies. Meet with critical customers as the Carrier subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the recognized subject matter expert on product of responsibility
  • Leverage your unique expertise to develop strategies that promote and sell the product
  • Work with colleagues from across Europe, North America and Asia to identify and implement sales best practices
  • Provide feedback to the broader marketing team regarding unique, next generation sales tools to promote the value of our products
  • As the recognized systems expert, support pre-sale meetings with decision makers on high profile chiller systems
  • Collect Voice of Customer feedback for future program development
  • Help in the creation of business cases for various programs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • 6+ years of experience in Commercial HVAC Sales, Product Management, Application Engineering or Design

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience with semi-custom and custom commercial applied chillers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
  • HVAC industry experience with consulting engineers and end owners
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple functions, to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Combination of excellent technical skills, be a self-starter, with strong business understanding, strong self-direction, and excellent interpersonal/influencing skills to work across the Carrier organization and with customers
  • Key traits include personality defined by positivity, responsibility, integrity, accountability, and respect culminating in a strong work ethic
  • Fluent in a foreign language
