Global Protection Officer

The Global Protection Officer works closely with security teams, facilities, events, executives and vendors to develop, deploy and manage physical security controls that protect our people and our company. The Global Protection Officer will be responsible for facilitating physical security and enabling crisis management across multiple global sites, teams and events at Klaviyo.

Responsibilities:

• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Enact and ensure the physical security management of employees and facilities
• Review, manage and mature global physical security policies, procedures and processes
• Work with the other CISO security teams to expand and integrate physical and cyber security controls
• Assist teams so they can identify and remediate physical security vulnerabilities
• Help build automation and integrations to mature physical security processes
• Identify physical security and process gaps and determine the best ways to increase visibility and reduce risk
• Conduct periodic security site assessments of existing facilities, make recommendations and track improvements
• Help plan and execute physical security controls and processes at new international locations
• Support potential investigations for security, legal and people teams

Required Skills/Abilities:

• The ability to effectively and efficiently manage and grow direct reports, matrix teams as well as contractors and vendors
• Great oral and written communication as well as presentation skills

• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Education and Experience:

• 12+ years of physical security management experience with a track record of increasing responsibility and excellence in execution
• Hands-on physical security operations experience with world class tooling such as S2, Brivo, EagleEye and Everbridge
• Strong track record in global event management and executive facilitation
• Crisis management experience with companies and partners that have global and multicultural footprints
