The HPE Global Sales Incubation and Activation Programs team is looking for Industry global program leaders (one each in Manufacturing and Financial Services industries). Theses program managers standardize the way we enable and support our sales teams in their transition to Outcome Based, Challenger sales by adapting HPE horizontal business solutions to industry specific use cases and fine tuning the industry specific Go To Market process. This is a hands on position managing the overall industry go to market program for solutions through their life cycle. The successful candidate will provide best practice leadership examples, consultation, and training across all geographies and business units. You'll be measured on how your programs meet their goals, and your ability to collaborate and influence other's success with your best practice sharing and business insights.

The Global Sales Industry Program Manager is responsible for the following:
  • Develop an in-depth understanding for the Industry sales program's strategic business needs thru these pillars: business case, solution prioritization, route to market, marketing plan, sales operations plan, geographical sales plans, sales enablement, and overall program governance.
  • Coordinate across the HPE Industry sales and support community to ensure the end-to-end Go to Market model is complete with time and outcome based dependencies defined and delivered.
  • Provide a feedback and continuous improvement process to proactively keep programs on track with global and geography goals.
  • Define success and exit strategy for mature solutions to create capacity.
  • Lead management system reporting to sales communities and functional teams ensure goal attainment
  • Consult with other Go to Market program leaders and project teams to provide best practices knowledge across the organization.


Education and Experience
  • BA or BS required; graduate degree preferred.
  • 7+ years to relevant experience in Sales, Sales Operations, and Process improvement.
  • Advanced experience in several of the related disciplines of solution architecting, sales enablement, process improvement, and project management.


Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge and understanding of field selling motions is essential to success in this role.
  • FSI or Manufacturing Industry Customer facing experience in Sales, presales, or support.
  • Demonstrated Global project / program / change management experience
  • Execution focus and structure: action and results orientated, "can do" attitude, rigor, able to drive multiple parallel and fast pace initiatives setting priorities efficiently.
  • Highly developed problem solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to informally lead and inspire teams, develop relationships across organizations and accomplish goals under pressure situations
  • Strong skills in exercising independent judgment
  • Solid understanding of business planning methods and business acumen
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Highly developed negotiation/ influencing skills
  • English proficiency level required.
