The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Summary:

Analyst Sanctions Customer Due Diligence & Risk Assessment Role will be within the Global Sanctions Compliance Department, reporting into the Global Sanctions Advisory organization. This role will interface with MUFG's regional financial crimes offices (RFCOs) and occasionally the first line of defense.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sanctions due diligence on existing and prospective customers.
• Review customers and related due diligence questionnaires.
• Perform supplementary sanctions due diligence and research on vendor-supported tools.
• Review customer exposure against applicable sanctions regulations and MUFG policies.
• Draw and document informed conclusions based on applicable sanctions risks.
• Be able to understand and interpret sanctions regulations and monitor changes to such regulations.
• Support global sanctions risk assessment activities, including gathering and analysis of risk assessment data, review and challenge and drafting of risk assessment narrative.
• Correspond and communicate with RFCO colleagues.
• Other sanctions-related tasks, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and deliver results
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking skills
• Interest in foreign policy and international relations
• Extremely organized and self-motivated

The typical base pay range for this role is between $68k-$78k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
