Job Description

Implementation and support of SAP Finance and Controlling processes by:

  • Collecting and documenting detailed requirements
  • Analyzing requirements and designing solutions using SAP best practices
  • Developing To-be business process flows
  • Configuring Finance and Controlling modules and associated master data.
  • Performing integration and system testing to ensure proper functioning of the solutions with the other modules.
  • Preparing test scripts
  • Coordinating with the users to test the solutions.
  • Developing business process documentation and user training manuals.
  • Training the key users and end users.
  • Implementing cross functional solutions by working with cross functional implementation team.
  • Planning and coordinating cut-over activities for smooth transition.
  • Performing data migration.
  • Providing post Go-live support to the users.
  • Preparing necessary documentation such as configuration, gap fit analysis, decisions taken.
  • Developing functional specifications for development objects and working with the development team to deploy completed solutions

Desired Skills

  • Expertise in SAP FI and CO modules to configure and to implement these modules for manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge in SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP for cross application component integration.
  • Analysis and Design skills.
  • Customization skills in SAP ECC FI&CO related modules.
  • Business knowledge in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and associated data.
  • Project Management skills and team leadership skills.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP FI & CO modules and their implementation with associated interfaces and in support of SAP Business Processes and associated interfaces.
  • Extensive experience in product costing and COPA related functionality.
  • Experience in leading and implementing large ERP (SAP) projects with the cross functional business and IT teams.
  • Experience in implementation of SAP processes for Batch manufacturing (chemical or similar) environment is desirable.
  • Extensive experience in designing and architecting solutions in the respective SAP functional areas.
  • Extensive work experience in implementing solutions related to taxes, regulatory and compliance processes and systems
  • Experience in 5 full life cycle implementations of SAP Financial Accounting and Management Accounting related processes is desired.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or University in Accounting, Business administration, Management Information Systems or equivalent.
