Global Senior Brand Manager

Portfolio: Fruity Snacks/Gum and Mints

Location: Chicago, IL or UK

This role requires strong external perspective in relation to future back consumer opportunity spaces, portfolio development, business models & route to markets. It will also require exceptional comfort with ambiguity, in order to lead cross functional teams e.g. R&D, insights, external manufacturers, sales incubators, supply, in a series of ongoing sprints delivering unprecedented organizational speed. High levels of cross functional business acumen are also critical, to ensure robust front loading of DVF (desirability, viability, feasibility), to deliver top & bottom value creation for the portfolio

What are we looking for?

• Business degree qualified (MBA preferred)
• 8-10 years' experience in strategy and/or marketing role
• Affinity / experience of leading agile cross functional teams grounded in strong business acumen.
• Preference to have worked in both entrepreneurial and scale businesses.
• Innovation experience: at originating, scaling and implementing/executing.
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Cross-market expertise

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Partner with markets to understand key barriers & growth drivers and support the delivery of growth opportunities, including:
• Codification of market learnings and deployment to other markets
• Development & deployment of key global initiatives to drive portfolio relevance
• Intervene on strategic issues to support the Portfolio House
• Consolidate global VCP for the total Portfolio of brands
• Lead cross functional agile projects that unlock innovation:
• That uncovers unmet consumer needs •
• Uses new technologies, business models and/or channels Confirming accretive desirability, viability & feasibility of new platforms while Ensuring smooth hand over of the new platforms into the regions/markets
