The Sourcing M&A/Transition Leader is a global program manager for all Sourcing aspects during M&A Due Diligence Pre and Post Integration and Site Transition Projects. You will lead functional Due Diligence, Integration and Transition workstreams and help stakeholders meet deadlines, achieve direct material synergy savings, track, monitor and summarize progress of projects. This role reports to the Director Strategic Sourcing and is located in Atlanta, GA.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the operational and strategy creation aspects of sourcing projects.
- Lead/program manage all Sourcing aspects of Due Diligence, Integration and Transition projects
- Execute the Sourcing M&A Playbook and/or Standard Transition Process (STP) to ensure all Sourcing tasks are completed and processes rolled out according to and aligned with the overall business plan
- Analyze supplier or contract profiles of the company being acquired to determine potential supplier cost synergies and working capital improvements.
- Develop and sustain all required linkages, partnerships and collaboration with the global Category Strategy teams and SBG Sourcing to achieve the synergy savings targets.
- Support the implementation of agreements with strategic suppliers in accordance with acquisition and SBG goals.
- Build strong business relationships with all functional and business senior leaders within the acquired company and/or SBG to develop holistic, business focused strategies that support delivery of the required synergy savings goals.
- Deliver all Sourcing/Procurement related results associated with acquisition and/or transition targets. Interface with Sourcing, Finance, Marketing, IT, Engineering, and ISC factory to drive productivity and savings, supplier performance for the acquisition.
- Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports for senior leadership
- Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet established goals and objectives
- Manage and direct teams to monitor project plans, manage issues and risks, and prioritize activities within projects and across initiative
- Drive the development of integrated project plans, aligning project tactics with project strategy
- 25% Travel (may have some international travel)

YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 years experience in Integrated Supply Chain, Procurement/Sourcing/Business
- 3 years experience direct M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) experience (Due Diligence, Integration)
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

- Demonstrated Project Management experience, preferably managing transitions
- Ability to influence all levels to achieve results
- Possess comprehensive technical and process knowledge of procurement/sourcing
- Balance communications and effective/active listening skills, specifically with upper-level leadership and 3rd party suppliers
- Demonstrated professionalism, respect and irreproachable ethical standards
- Demonstrated intelligent risk taking and sound decision making with a passion to exceed results
