About the position:
The Global Sourcing Manager - Indirect role is a managerial position for an experienced Procurement professional.As part of a dynamic and engaging team responsible for directing and managing indirect procurement activities, this individual must have experience in commodity management of tooling, capital equipment and parts, janitorial supplies, IT equipment, non-production related materials, EH S and other indirect procurement commodities. Responsibilities for the Global Sourcing Manager - Indirect include, but not limited to:
- Develop and manage the Indirect Materials Services ("IMS") Commodity Strategies that support and enhance Raymond's business goals (i.e., Hoshin).
- Develop policy process to drive an efficient and effective indirect sourcing program.
- Identify, prioritize, lead, and drive strategic and tactical Strategic Global Indirect Sourcing initiatives to improve supply chain performance.
- Manage a team of 6-10 IMS Buyers responsible for the tactical execution of IMS strategies supporting production, facilities and non-production activities by developing roles responsibilities for the team.
- Develop rapport and confidence of internal stakeholders through cross-functional collaborations with Facilities, Maintenance, Engineering, Sales, HR, Accounting/Finance, and IT to develop enhanced replenishment methodologies for multiple locations to meet demand.
- Build and maintain strong and long-term strategic Supplier relationships to leverage best-in-class supply chain partnerships in support of Raymond's business strategies.
- Administer the Raymond Purchasing Policy and recommend improvements.
- Source new suppliers (i.e., information compilation, RFQs, RFPs, negotiation, contracting, ), and lead indirect materials contract drafting and negotiations.
- Set-up and train new suppliers on Raymond's SAP and Ariba systems and processes.
- Develop, manage, and implement performance documentation (e., scorecards, supplier management strategy, business reviews) with key stakeholders and suppliers to guarantee compliance with contract terms and regulatory requirements. Perform internal and external benchmarking.
- Collaborate with Toyota Material Handling North America's (TMHNA) Centralized Indirect Materials Procurement to support TMHNA programs and goals.
About the schedule:
This position is based in Greene, NY with a hybrid work schedule option.
About you:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent is preferred.
- This is a mid-level management role within the organization. Eight or more years of professional experience, with at least three years of management experience is required.
- Experience in commodity management of tooling, capital equipment and parts, janitorial supplies, IT equipment, non-production materials, EH S materials, and other indirect commodities is required.
- Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification preferred.
It would be great if you had:
- Deep understanding and experience in use of eProcurement and eSourcing Tools, ideally within the SAP and Ariba environment.
- Total cost of ownership (TCO) analytics with a proven track record in reducing costs while improving service levels.
- Experience with ERP/MRP programs required.
- Proficient computer skills with advanced skills on MS Office applications including Excel required.

- Experience with Indirect categories is a strong plus.

- Experience implementing innovative solutions to Stockroom/MRO crib operations, vending item delivery to end users, VMI Programs, and other programs preferred.
- Successful work experience as a Sourcing or Procurement Manager, or equivalent heavy industrial product industry (i.e., automotive, trucks, trains, material handling, or aerospace) preferred.
About the total compensation package:
Salary - Salaries ranging from $94,000 - $121,000/annually; compensation commensurate with education and experience.
Relocation - This position may qualify for relocation.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
- This is a mid-level management role within the organization. Eight or more years of professional experience, with at least three years of management experience is required.
