We are currently seeking a Global Strategic Account Manager - US who will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to execute our global sales strategy and deliver results.
This is a remote role that can be located in the Boston area or across the US.
What we'll get you doing:
- Assume global account management responsibilities for assigned biopharma accounts to deliver customer impact from IDBS solutions and expand the commercial relationship. Ensure global sales strategy planning and execution using account planning tools and frequent Account Team planning and alignment cadences
- Provide regional (North American) account management support for a select number of assigned global biopharma accounts, supporting the development and execution of a key account plan owned by a peer Strategic Account Manager
- Effectively promote and educate targeted accounts on the challenges the industry is facing and how IDBS provides solutions to positively impact their business. This should be achieved through one-on-one meetings, group presentations and company-approved industry conferences, etc.
- Ensure solid performance levels of call and field productivity. Achieve sales goals while adhering to all defined ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and required promotional regulations. Work in the field each week as needed, supported by office time for call planning, customer follow-up, preparing presentations, making appointments, report generation, etc.
- Coordinate promotional efforts with peers across departments and co-promotion alliance partners. This includes appropriately managing/maintaining all company equipment and company-approved promotional materials (e.g., sales materials, company literature, etc.) according to defined company compliance guidelines
Here is what success in this role looks like:
- Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of experience (preferably in Life Sciences software sales) & can navigate a 12-18-month sales cycle preferably
- Accustomed to dealing with complex deals and multiple stakeholders, including VP and C-level decision makers
- Experience in R&D, process development and manufacturing within the biopharma products/industry
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: - Experience with a sales methodology, Challenger Sale preferred
- Scientific and Scientific Sales background, with Life science sales preferred
- The salary range for this role is $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 base plus commission. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado or California. This range may be modified in the future.
- This job is also eligible for annual incentive pay.
