Summary:
The Intern in this role will gain exposure and experience in Global Strategic Marketing related activities as applied in practice in a global manufacturing company.

Responsibilities:
They can vary depending on specific needs of the Global Strategic Marketing group at time of hire. All internships are tailored to provide diverse experiences that interest the intern and benefit the organization.

• Analyzing the distribution of Allison products throughout the globe to better understand market share in developing countries and establish a service channel that meets our global customers' needs
• Utilizing the Customer Value Creation Process to understand market size and trends for new global opportunities
• Supporting customer event logistics and trade shows
• Developing marketing materials such as website content or advertisements in conjunction with external agencies

Experience Requirements:

• Education: College undergraduate or graduate status with 1-3 years at an accredited college or university, pursuing an academic field of study related to Marketing, Sales, Business, or Management
• Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
• Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
• Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
