Job Description
The Global S&S Direct Procurement CoE Manager position is responsible for co-management of the S&S value chains with the Global S&S Materials Manager. This is accomplished through alignment/continuity of the overall product value chain strategy which includes developing global sourcing and procurement strategies that drive supply resiliency in support of Rockwell Automation's Solutions and Systems business verticals. Two manager positions report into this role, S&S CoE Manager - Sourcing Specialists and S&S CoE Manager - Value Chain Business Partners, with the ETO PIC Managers dotted line reporting into this role. This position provides direct and indirect leadership to teams located in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, China, and EMEA and reports into the Global Director of S&S.
Sourcing Specialist Team:
The S&S Sourcing Specialist drives procurement excellence through standard work and works to align S&S sales project specifications with value chain capabilities. This is accomplished through driving cost and process productivity, supplier management, and deploying enabling technologies within the value chain. The S&S Sourcing Specialist team works closely with sourcing, materials, buyer/planners, and engineering.
Value Chain Business Partner Team:
The Value Chain Business Partner influences business decision making to create competitive advantage through optimizing product costs and lead-times, collaborating during pre-sales activities, and reducing risk and increasing resiliency in the value chain. The Value Chain Business Partner works closely with the business to understand strategic objectives, stakeholder needs, and goals in order to align the functional elements of the value chain to deliver the expected business outcomes.

Essential Job Functions:
- Drive globally for the S&S space: strategy, standard work, productivity process / results, value chain alignment to BU outcomes, supply resiliency / agility
- Support globally for the S&S space: service, inventory, TOCT (total order cycle time)
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferably in Supply Chain
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience:
- Domestic and International travel is required
- 10+ years of multi-functional SC experience with at least 2 years in people management; strong understanding of Sourcing, Materials, and Operations (if not, expectation that the person will sit in Buyer/Planner role to learn for at least 3 months as part of their onboarding); strong leadership, collaboration, influencing, and coaching skills; strategic mindset
- Solving Sourcing / Procurement pain points through the lens of end to end supply chain
- Connect the dots across the broader supply chain through listening, collaborating, continuous improvement, leading
- Have to be proficient in end to end supply chain in order to work with many stakeholders with different goals / motivations
- APICS certification desirable
