Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain and Operations Management, Finance, or Business, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in global supply chain management within consumer electronics, with experience in manufacturing and supply chain processes.
  • 7 years of experience in multi-disciplined procurement, leading strategy development, execution and sourcing or a related function.
  • 3 years of experience managing category strategies and sourcing teams across multiple categories for both goods and services in the indirect category space.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with commodities such as biometrics authentication/display/touch or other modules used on consumer products.
  • Experience partnering, collaborating and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience managing overall ramp readiness with Engineering, Operations, and Supplier teams.
  • Excellent self-learning, negotiation, communication, sourcing, and collaboration skills.

As a Global Supply Chain Manager for Display/Touch/frames per second module, you will work on a leading edge authentication strategy, innovative display and touch solutions. You will participate in new technology evaluation, you will lead the program Request for Information/Request for Quotation (RFI/RFQ) process, and be part of the core team for program level execution. You will serve as a supplier related issues escalation point for the cross-functional teams from Tech Engineering, Supplier Development Engineering, etc.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier roadmap and new technology investigations.
  • Lead program RFI/RFQ negotiations, supplier selection process and agreement negotiations.
  • Participate and influence supplier and sourcing strategy and execution.
  • Lead the communication with the cross-functional team and suppliers to resolve all issues arised from the development and ramp stages, serve as the escalation point.
  • Manage suppliers to ensure material/supply availability and readiness for the development builds and mass production.
