About the Role

The Global Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and implementing the strategic talent acquisition plan for all global positions. Manages internal and/or external recruiting staff responsible for sourcing, screening, selecting, and processing new hires. Partners with senior management and operations to ensure timely understanding of current and future workforce needs in a result driven work environment, using effective management practices to instill a culture of productivity, efficiency and accountability. He/she is responsible to develop and manage cost per hire and budget, main metrics, process and KPIs for the global company.

Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively with the business to develop a coherent, high impact recruitment `brand and lead a disciplined campaign to instill the brand both internally and in the market.
  • Partner with internal business leaders to anticipate, understand and address talent acquisition requirements and priorities based on historical data and trends and develop plans to meet needs.
  • Develop and implement processes to efficiently source, screen, select, recruit, and process candidates to ensure the staffing needs of the operation are fully met.
  • Personally engage in recruiting efforts as needed with an emphasis on difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Manage and develop the professional skills and capabilities of the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Ensure TA Team is appropriately resourced and trained to achieve hiring targets, while meeting or exceeding performance indicators for customer service and efficiency
  • Establish a robust talent pipeline for hires that focuses on passive candidates and builds a strong network for future talent.
  • Continuously improve the Global Talent Acquisition Process based on business opportunities, benchmark, and world class process
  • Ensure TA Team is appropriately resourced, leveraged and trained to achieve hiring targets, while meeting or exceeding performance indicators for customer service and efficiency
  • Develop and implement a detailed and sustainable land-based talent attraction strategy and excellent candidate experience.
  • Develops knowledge and experience of competitors, market intelligence and trends in recruitment.
  • Ensures that recruitment channels promote diverse sourcing, selection processes are free of bias and that selection decisions are based upon objective assessment criteria.
  • Continuously review the sourcing mix between direct and vendors to increase direct percentage year over year.
  • Lead the design of Talent Acquisitions team structure for current and future success.
  • Be able to execute creative problem-solving strategies or solutions.

Capabilities & Experiences

  • Ability to review current processes, compare to best practices and improve the TA function, technology, and reporting.
  • Experience with Recruitment Processing Outsourcing (RPO’s), in house functions and hybrid environments.
  • Experience with setting up and optimizing the talent marketing component of talent acquisition.
  • Experience with leveraging technology and offshore arrangements to drive efficiency.
  • Experience with building and improving the on-boarding function.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Master Degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in a talent acquisition and/or sourcing role, including development and implementation of targeted sourcing strategies, management and development of teams, and understanding of the role of sourcing in the end-to-end recruiting process

Knowledge And Skills

  • Proven experience on global recruitment.
  • Experience leading a team local and remotely.
  • Experienced in full-cycle recruitment including role definition, strategic candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer management and on-boarding in multiple disciplines and geographies globally.
  • Extensive direct, strategic sourcing experience utilizing a number channels and mediums to include Social Media, Job Boards, networking, cold calling, career fairs and talent pipelining.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering successful, comprehensive talent attraction strategies and positive candidate experience.
  • Skilled in leading the negotiation and management of strategic vendor relationships.
  • Highly collaborative, truly valuing a one team dynamic.
  • Strong business acumen, able to deliver solutions that deliver competitive advantage.
  • Proven experience of managing remote teams.
  • Able to identify gaps in the hiring process and continuously work with others to improve processes, introduce new methodologies, and measure progress.
  • Knowledge and understanding of recruiting and sourcing tools/technologies and experience implementing tools, technologies and processes to attract candidates and effectively manage candidate pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and superior analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
