This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office an average of two to three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.

As an Associate/AVP in Global Talent and Learning, your role overall is to provide support in the management, design and delivery of MUFG Global Talent and Learning Initiatives. This role has exposure to many areas of MUFG, working in partnership across other areas of talent development, Human Resources, Vendor Management, and the various lines of business we support.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Support in the planning, coordination, and execution of the MUFG Analyst Program (MAP), including in-person entry training in New York (mid-July - early Sept.)
  • Planning and execution of MAP ongoing development virtual sessions and peer groups
  • Overseeing day to day activities and providing support of the Global Corporate Investment Banking Academy (GCIBA) program liaising with business units, Global and Regional HR and participants
  • Provide key support for programs including venue, logistics, pre-work, materials, assessments, events, vendor management, facilitation as needed, etc.
  • Manage and run technology during program sessions and regular meetings including practice and prep for presenters and participants
  • Liaise with external vendors and instructors to coordinate meetings, training, contracts, etc. and work with internal Vendor Management, Accounts Payable and payment teams to follow compliance on vendor hiring, onboarding, and payment
  • Manage enrollments, enter new classes/courses, distribute and collate surveys in learning management system (LEAP)
  • Create surveys, analyze participant feedback, make recommendations for future enhancements
  • Collaborate with Global and Regional HR colleagues, HR Business Partners, Legal, Vendor Management and Business Line representatives to deploy programs and processes
  • Perform related duties and participate in additional programs, assignments and projects as required

Additional skills, experiences, and qualities you will bring to the team:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in learning and development and/or program management, preferably in financial institutions
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills - ability to stay on top of multiple projects and priorities at once
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - articulate and present point of view in a clear and concise manner
  • Deep curiosity to learn about our business and willingness to innovate and simplify
  • Ability to be adaptable and collaborative - to work as part of a team or independently and with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Skilled in being resourceful - using all available tools, knowledge, and information to get the job done
  • Demonstrate high levels of client centricity, judgment, integrity, and sense of urgency
  • Strong skills working with PowerPoint, Excel, WebEx, MS Teams, etc.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $75,000 - $95,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
