Global Treasury Control & Reporting Administrator

The Global In-House Bank (GIHB), part of Global Treasury Operations (GTO) and the T&B organization, processes large amounts of cash on daily basis. Governance and control over these activities is essential to avoid business risks and/or financial losses for Mars Inc.

The Global Treasury Operations team is responsible for providing robust governance over all Treasury systems and processes used by the various global treasury teams and the In Country Treasury Centers (ICTC’s). This role exists to provide administrative support for these treasury systems and processes to ensure we are protecting the business from risk and/or financial loss. This role is critical for the success of the Control & Reporting team and the overall Global Treasury organization.

In this versatile role you provide support to the Global Treasury Control & Reporting Manager and the Global Treasury Operations Team. You ensure that the administrative record is well taken care of and governance and control around processes and systems such as our treasury management system Quantum and e-banking solutions are well arranged. You are in contact with the In-Country Treasury Centers (ICTC) regarding the follow-up of the various Treasury control related activities to achieve governance and compliance within the business units. You also work closely with other Global Treasury colleagues worldwide. You work with different IT systems and use them for your reports. What will be your key responsibilities?

• Track actionable KPIs and follow-up such as upcoming expiring MeBAM/MeFAM workflows, expiring intercompany loans, and bank portal access requests.
• Administrator services (e.g. master data updates, user access) for Treasury systems and platforms including but not limited to banking portals, treasury management system, treasury reporting portals, and ERP systems.
• Preparatory work for various activities such as but not limited to Annual Bank Evaluation, Distributable Reserves, MeBAM (Bank Account Management) and MeFAM (Bank Facilities Management) certification, manual journal entry review, and for critical treasury reporting.
• Monitor e-banking access rights to ensure it is well governed and old users, pre-formats and bank accounts are closed.
• Participating in with the opportunity to lead treasury projects or continuous improvement projects.
