GLUI Architect

Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect you directly help clients transform their business  and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.  You are a technical leader serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Architect in IBM Transformation and Operations you’ll serve as a leader in defining solutions for accounting systems’ clients. You’ll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.
You’ll collaborate with stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Design and configure solutions for accounting systems application implementations and migrations by using an agile framework. This will be for Ledger and Intercompany applications.
• Share technical inputs and best practices to the delivery team to conduct successful outcomes for our clients.
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and customize a plan to take their implementations to the next level.
• In this role you’ll work in IBM Accounting Systems where we deliver solutions for internal applications for accountants around the world.
• As an IBM Application Architect you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. • Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 10 years Subject Matter Expertise (SME) knowledge and experience in IBM Accounting Systems and platforms etc.
• End to end experience (minimum 7 years) in handling and delivering Mainframe and Cloud based applications.
• Experience and knowledge (Minimum 3 years) In developing and delivery of the CI/CD pipeline for accounting applications.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Leadership experience 7 years in gathering requirements strategize the solution & documentation translating those into the functional & technical design building the solution testing support and following all other tasks END-TO-END.
