The Gogo Business Aviation Marketing department and communications team is growing quickly, with exciting advances digital and data-informed strategies. The Gogo Summer 2024 Intern: Communications and Content Intern will have the opportunity to support our entire team in executing highly effective storytelling.
You will be supporting the communications team by writing stories, creating new content (written, video, images, infographics), assisting with social media development and execution, and providing technical support for intranet management. You'll contribute and collaborate with members of the marketing team to support their initiatives including the demand generation, web, creative and marketing ops teams.

How will you make a difference and learn?
- Learn effective and impactful storytelling
- Write stories for internal communications purposes
- Create, or assist with the creation, of compelling content and by identifying ideas for new content that can be used across channels, and to support the entire marketing team
- Assist with social media development, including writing and producing videos, providing a "fresh" perspective to the team regarding social media content we're posting today and recommendations/considerations for new content
- Provide technical support to the team, helping with updates and maintenance of intranet (Inside Gogo) and information/stories that are posted on a weekly basis
- Support digital asset management implementation and structure of assets including updating and organizing our image/video library and
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field
- You must be enrolled in an accredited school
- This is a paid summer internship that requires an average availability of 30-40 hours per week from May-August
Preferred Skills, Academic Experience and Talent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience with creative writing, journalism, content creation, or social media
- Strong interest in corporate writing, internal communications, content development, social media, marketing, or creative
- Strong project management and collaboration skills to interact effectively within the marketing team and across departments
This paid internship requires an average availability of 40 hours per week during the summer of 2024 in Gogo BA's main office located in Broomfield, CO. Interns are full-fledged members of the team -engaged from day one through structured training, mentorship, a diverse set of experiences, a network of peers across the company, and leadership opportunities. Our internship program is designed to provide exposure to real, complex operational projects in which you will be working with a variety of people in different business functions. Ideal candidates are top-performing students who excel at analytic problem solving and have a desire to re-engineer processes, quantify business impacts, and be part of major corporate initiatives.
Not located in Colorado? No problem! Gogo Business Aviation will provide a $2,500 stipend to assist with your living expenses during your internship. This one-time sign on bonus will be paid in the first payroll following your start date.
