Google Cloud DevOps Specialist

As part of its digital strategy, Desjardins is transforming its development approach, and our team is responsible for maintaining and updating a Google cloud platform and services. We're looking for someone creative and eager to join our ambitious team. As a Google Cloud DevOps specialist, you support IT efficiency. You configure, administer and upgrade cloud services based on the organization's needs. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Foster the best DevOps approaches using our source code management, assembly, package deposit, continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery/deployment (CD) tools.

• Serve as a specialist in technology infrastructure operations for a range of client groups and practitioners.

• Apply the team's methods and processes using tools such as Git, Concourse, Terraform, Vault, Bash, Shell and Python.

• Help develop and optimize procedures. Help develop documentation and prepare and deliver information to peers and consumers.

• Help develop and implement objectives, solutions, policies, programs and action plans.

• Develop indicators and monitoring approaches for performance. Identify issues. Make recommendations to decision-making bodies.

• Monitor the industry to understand and anticipate trends in your field of expertise and make recommendations to develop best practices for the organization.

• Represent your unit in meetings with committees and internal and external stakeholders about your initiatives.

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience

• Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

• Experience with the agile approach

• Knowledge of French is required

• Knowledge of Linux

• Knowledge of DevOps concepts (Gitflow, CI/CD)

• Knowledge of cloud networking

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
