Google Cloud Engineer
Job Description
Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Google Cloud Engineer to support Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. The Architect's primary function will be to design the development and operations of the Program Cloud Development Environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Architect cloud-based development environments for a large programs
- Design and document best practices for DevSecOps actions
- Utilize USAF PlatformOne DevSecOps guidelines and tools when applicable
- Develop DevSecOps tools and techniques as necessary to construct an automated and secure DevSecOps pipeline
- Ensures cybersecurity functions, performance, and characteristics are incorporated into the weapon system and validated IAW DOD and USAF policy
- Automate deployment and maintenance of solutions across multiple cloud instances using Terraform or other selected Infrastructure as Code tooling
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Technical experience required:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain SECRET Clearance required, TS/SCI Clearance preferred
- 15+ years of experience with System Architecture and Engineering
- 5+ years of experience with Docker and container-based technologies
- 5+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
- Familiarity with RMF/DIACAP accreditation process
- Strong foundation in containers, algorithms, and software application design
