Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled GCP Solution Architect who will be responsible for Managing end to end GCP platform. Ability to work independently and remotely, with willingness travel for client engagements as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Deploying and managing applications in a GKE environment
- Writing automation scripts and tools to manage the infrastructure
- Building and maintaining Docker containers
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of Kubernetes clusters
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure application deployment is seamless
- Ensuring high availability and scalability of applications
- Keeping up to date with the latest developments in Kubernetes and related technologies.
- Integrating GKE with other tools and systems using Python APIs.
- Developing custom plugins and extensions for Kubernetes using Python.
- Implementing security and compliance policies for applications running on Google Anthos.
- Managing multi-cluster and multi-cloud deployments using Google Anthos.
- Accelerate cloud adoption by influencing and standardizing reusable patterns to develop prebuilt solutions or automation templates
- Develop workload specific migration templates
- Keeping up to date with the latest developments in Kubernetes and related technologies.
- Integrating GKE with other tools and systems using Python APIs.
- Developing custom plugins and extensions for Kubernetes using Python.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
- 14+ years of experience in Overall Infrastructure along with 3-5 years of GCP Cloud experience.
- Experience in migrating large scale customer facing applications from on premise to GCP environment.
- Aptitude to be a good team player and the willingness to learn and implement new cloud technologies as needed.
- Good Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure concepts and data center load balancing technologies, Networking and TCP/IP Server hardware configuration and Standard Internet services, such as DNS, HTTP, etc.
- Methodical approach to troubleshooting complex problems.
- Knowledge of Linux or windows scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell etc.
- Monitoring and Instrumentation DevOps toolchain Technical and Professional Expertise.

Preferred Skills/Qualification:
- Cloud Architecture and Strategy standardization of reference architecture / identification of reusable composite patterns to develop prebuilt solutions or automation templates / Identify opportunities to accelerate cloud adoption
- DevOps / Cloud Engineers with automation expertise (IaC, Terraform Public cloud)
- Cloud adoption and migration expertise.
