Go/Python Senior Software Developer with application security skills

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our mission to create a #CyberFit future and protect all data, applications and systems across any environment.

As the Senior Software Developer, you will develop and enhance Platform components, and other Acronis services protecting data and ensuring business continuity in any scenario. You will be working with Go Lang and Python to build resilient and secure solutions that meet the highest industry standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and maintain cloud solutions using Go Lang and Python.
• Perform code reviews and integrate security improvements.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure the resilience of the services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cyber Cloud.
• Analyze and optimize the performance of the solutions.
• Help teammates adhere to secure software development practices.

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Proficiency in Go Lang and Python.
• Experience in developing cloud services.
• Willing to review source code created by others and propose how to make it more secure.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles (standard algorithms, data structures, multithreading, multiprocessing, web services, REST API)
• Experience with build and deployment technologies, CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket etc).
• Knowledge of secure software development practices (OWASP SAMM, NIST 800-64, ISO/IEC 27034 etc) would be a plus.
• Training and certifications in Secure Software Development, for example by SANS Institute, is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience, Master’s Degree preferred.
