Government Program Manager

Tomorrow.io’s government team is responsible for growing our weather intelligence platform and space and sensor and satellite technology business with government agencies through software, hardware and research & development contract awards. 

We are looking for a Program Manager who will lead program management within the department to help with the growing number of US and international government contracts that require execution. This position is right for you if you want to work with a world class team who are excited about their mission, see development of programs from proposal through operations, and make a positive impact on the world.

What you’ll do:

• Manage the overall program portfolio within the government department
• Manage individual program(s) through to completion;
• Operate efficiently across a range of programs complexities/scales and across both commercial and government customers;
• Interface with customers and potential customers;
• Work all phases of programs, from initial scoping and proposal through delivery and operations;
• Develop and negotiate statements of work. Negotiate master services agreements with key vendors.

What you bring:

• B.S. in Science or Engineering
• 3+ years of relevant experience managing programs with a government customer
• Direct experience with scientific programs 
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams and mixing hardware and software development environments
• Understanding of scientific modeling and remote sensing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This position requires access to technology that is controlled under U.S. export control laws and regulations. Accordingly, this position is restricted to U.S. citizens, permanent residents and protected individuals unless and until any required licenses are obtained.

Anticipated salary range is $110k-130k, subject to local market and a candidate’s skills and experience.  Health, leave and other benefits included.
