The Opportunity:

The Implementation team is a global team of experts that translate the client requirements to the RIMES infrastructure, combining high quality with great efficiency.

The team is integral part of the Professional Services department and is there to assist in the assessment of the client projects, identify the difficulties and limitations, provide solutions and suggest improvements.

Implementation Associates are responsible for project implementations, including data feeds building, data testing, data enhancement and establishment of best implementation practices.

What you will do:

  • Implementation of projects for existing and new clients ensuring efficient and timely delivery
  • Develop creative solutions to meet client requirements
  • Provide feedback to internal departments for enhancement to data and products
  • Work closely with the Solution Consultants and other teams within RIMES in order to ascertain that the RIMES feeds meet the client’s specifications
  • Ensure the quality of data delivered
  • Create scalable templates which will reflect the best implementation practices
  • Provide feedback, make suggestions and identify areas of improvement having as target to enhance the efficiency of the implementation process

The Implementation Associate must have:

  • Ability to analyse and solve problems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of equity and fixed income benchmark indices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work within a team, as well as independently
  • Desire to learn new technology and grow in an ever-changing environment

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Graduate calibre, preferably mathematics, engineering, finance or a related field
  • Experience working with, querying, and manipulating large datasets
  • High proficiency with MS Excel

Also useful:

  • Basic knowledge of programming (preferably Python) and SQL
  • Sound working knowledge of financial spreadsheets and financial databases and applications
