Job Description

  • Development and Management of applications for the Bank 
  • Ensure implementation of designs through the Automation framework 
  • Implement the design and innovations within the engineering standard guidelines and compliance to the IT operating model.
  • Define Service Level Agreement and ensure efficient and effective delivery of IT services within these parameters.
  • - Implement effective in country Disaster Recovery Plans and ensure alignment with overall Business Continuity Management plans.
  • Practice the Agile methodology in implementation of initiatives. 
  • Achieve optimal Mean Time to Repair on all system faults.
  • Attainment of satisfactory audits. Number of projects delivered on time and budget. 
  • Effective change control management and fault reporting/management.
  • Run the Centre of excellence for Automation and development 
  • Manages Audits 

Qualifications

  • Qualification: A minimum degree in BSc Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or any IT-related field.


  • Experience: Practical academic experience in software or systems development.

Additional Information

Technical Competencies:

  •  Database management (preferred: Oracle, Postgres, and MS SQL) 

  • Programming languages (Python, Javascripting) 

  • Postman (API testing tool) 

  • Automation testing 

  • Git, Bitbucket or GitHub tools 

  • Understand Unix/Linux/Microsoft environment 

  • Work fusion, UiPath and Power Automate 

  • Project Management 

  • Cloud computing skill is an added advantage.
