Grafana University, Curriculum Development Intern

The Customer Education team at Grafana Labs was formed at the end of September 2021. We are looking for  Grafana University, Curriculum Development Intern, reporting to our Senior Curriculum Developer. The primary duty of our curriculum developers is to create content for our online self-paced offering, Grafana University.

Your work will be done with guidance in a collaborative, learning way. You are not expected to know how to do everything, but will be exposed to and use many of the methods and tools used to create effective, online instructional materials. 

You will need to be comfortable with learning new software quickly, researching technical topics, collaborating with our curriculum development team, and reviewing course materials. You should be in your final year of College or University.

• Assist in the production of training videos, including basic audio post-production, assembling videos in Camtasia, and creating caption files
• Help manage course materials in our Learning Management System (LMS), Docebo
• Assist in reviewing training videos and hands-on exercises for clarity, ease of use, and learning impact
• Research training topics and locate reference materials such as documentation or blog posts
• Assist in planning and creating hands-on exercises
• Document team processes in our internal wiki

• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies quickly
• Ability to effectively connect and collaborate with a globally distributed team while working remotely
• Reliable access to a workspace that has a good internet connection and is suitable for collaborative, remote work, including video conferencing

• Experience with prioritizing and managing your own projects in order to meet tight deadlines
• Experience with developing educational materials or teaching
• Familiarity with data visualization, metrics, monitoring, and/or observability technology

• You are currently an enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date in Spring or Summer of 2024
