THE JOB:

The SHOW comes alive at MGM Resorts International. As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience by serving guests beverages while on our gaming floor. By understanding our guests’ unique stories and needs, you will deliver WOW experiences that our guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

• Work with a diverse team of enthusiastic people in a FUN and fast-paced environment to achieve company goals
• Engage with guests by smiling and hearing their story as you properly complete beverage transactions using a Point-of-Sale (POS) register
• Set and maintain the stage by ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the front of house
• Ensure guest safety by following proper food and beverage handling and sanitation procedures
• Own the guest experience in any situation by using problem solving skills to WOW the guest

THE STARTING PAY: 13.09 with direct tips

A GREAT CANDIDATE:

• Has a high energy, positive attitude, and likes to have fun while doing their best work
• Previous experience as a lounge, cocktail, or restaurant server
• Is a team player
• Is welcoming and engaging
• Has basic knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Can handle multiple tasks at one time
• Displays excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills
