Job Summary
The Grant Compliance Manager oversees the administration and compliance of various grants and is responsible for ensuring that the grant activities are aligned with the grant objectives, budget, and reporting requirements. She / He will also monitor the performance and progress of the grant projects, identify, and mitigate any risks or issues, and communicate with the grantors and internal stakeholders.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $96,020.00 - $153,632.00 / year. Job Summary
The Grant Compliance Manager oversees the administration and compliance of various grants and is responsible for ensuring that the grant activities are aligned with the grant objectives, budget, and reporting requirements. She / He will also monitor the performance and progress of the grant projects, identify, and mitigate any risks or issues, and communicate with the grantors and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain control documents to track and monitor all existing grant milestones
- Provide advance notifications to responsible parties of forthcoming reporting requirements
- Provide guidance and support to responsible parties on grant compliance requirements, best practices, and documentation standards
- Follow up on a timely basis with responsible reporting parties to assure all milestones are met
- Develop repository of all relevant documents
- Coordinate the reporting to grantors and perform reasonableness checks related to the accuracy and completeness of data and narratives
- Keep abreast of changes in grant regulations and policies, updating organizational procedures and practices accordingly
- Coordinate discussions with key management in Growth, Marketing, Construction, Legal, and Government Affairs to address strategic decisions regarding timing and progress of existing grants, as well as determining future grant opportunities
- Identify and assess potential funding opportunities that align with the organization's mission and strategic goals
- Collaborate with program managers, finance staff and leadership team to develop and submit high-quality grant proposals that meet the grantor's expectations and deadlines
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
- At least eight years of business experience of which five years relate to project management, compliance, or auditing
- Knowledge of federal and state grant regulations and policies is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills #LI-DR1
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with all levels of management
