About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to process grant applications and payments through the Blackbaud grantmaking system for the Charitable Trusts & Foundations team.
Essential Functions
- Quickly develop fluency in the Blackbaud grantmaking database system
- Process grant applications in the Blackbaud system, including confirming nonprofit eligibility/compliance
- Process/request grant payments (~1,200/year)
- Manage various system updates and requests
- Primary point of contact for Blackbaud system troubleshooting for internal and external users
- Run and check various regular (monthly, quarterly, annual) and ad-hoc reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with a CRM or a grant management database-type system will be helpful
- Ability to identify process improvements and create solutions
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
- Intermediate level proficiency with PDF editor (Adobe or Foxit), Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 2+ years related experience in an office environment preferred
