GILLIG is currently seeking a talented and driven Grant Administrator to play a crucial role as part of our Product Planning and Strategy team. As the Grants Administrator, you will coordinate the entire lifecycle of grants, from development and administrative management to reporting and closeout. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our grant processes align with industry best practices and are executed professionally, efficiently, and on schedule.
You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative corporate setting, interacting with passionate team members who are committed to making a difference in transportation. As the Grants Administrator, you will report to the Public Policy and Grants Manager.
- Oversee the implementation of funded projects and track their progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and information for grant proposals and reports.
- Maintain accurate records of all grant-related activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Monitor grant activities closely and ensure timely fulfillment of all reporting requirements.
- Manage and monitor grant budgets to ensure that funds are allocated appropriately, and expenses are in compliance with grant guidelines.
- Produce detailed and persuasive reports on grant activities, outlining the achievements, challenges, and lessons learned during the project's execution.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in grant administration to continuously improve our grant-making processes.
- Identifies opportunities to optimize existing grant workflow, collaborating with other colleagues to implement while ensuring continued quality and timeliness across all aspects of the grant cycle.
- Interacts with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure that grant projects comply with program guidelines for expenditure, funding, and accountability.
- Support the development of comprehensive and compelling grant proposals that effectively communicate the impact of our initiatives and secure funding.
- Coordinating and actively participating in city and other governmental meetings related to grant needs and applications.
- Maintaining accurate payment records, reviewing invoices, and recording receipts.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business administration, public administration, nonprofit management).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant administration and project management in a corporate or non-profit setting.
- Adept at monitoring and ensuring adherence to grant requirements and guidelines.
- Clear and effective in written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with grant management software preferred.
- Knowledge of grant compliance regulations and reporting requirements.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally kneel or squat
- Scope of responsibilities necessitate evening and periodic weekend workload productivity.
- Standard start time: 7:00 AM (negotiable)
EXPECTED COMPENSATION
$75,000 - $275,000/annual salary + premium benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job classification, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment.
