Job Description

Overview

The Grants Specialist is a member of the Non-Research Government Grants and Sponsored Projects function and will plan an active role in the development, execution, and management of efforts in support of grant revenue growth. This individual works closely with service line and corporate/business services leaders and team members to bring best-in-class grants management support to grant-funded projects across the Fairview ecosystem.

As backstop, the Grants Specialist supports the grant-specific Project Director to assure that project's success and serves as primary liaison between that project and the Grants Office. Pre-award, the Grants Specialist conducts prospect research, supports proposal pursuit teams, and, at times, serves as lead grant writer. A successful Grants Specialist can effectively build trusting relationships with internal stakeholders, manage grant-funded projects throughout the grants lifecycle, and possesses strong planning, writing, and communication skills.

Expect rewarding work helping to advance Fairview's mission of health, discovery, and education-and a chance to grow and change within an industry-leading organization.

The Grants Specialist reports to the Federal and State Grants Director.

This position is 80hr per pay period and benefit eligible! Some of the benefits we offer at Fairview include medical insurance - as low as $0, dental insurance - also a $0 option, PTO (up to 24 days per year starting), and 403B with up to a 6% employer match. Click here to learn more!
