Graphic Design Intern

BlueSnap is a rapid-growth international FinTech company, headquartered in Waltham, MA, with offices in Israel, Ireland, and the UK. Our team works collaboratively building a world-class payments orchestration platform that provides our clients with extensive capabilities, technologies, and services, all with only one integration.
As a Graphic Design Intern at BlueSnap, you will work closely with our Senior Creative Designer to support various projects that require creative visual solutions. You will have the chance to apply your design skills, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to real-world projects that impact our business. This internship is a valuable opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in graphic design.
This internship will have a hybrid schedule from our Waltham, MA office and will be 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with the option to work either two full days or fewer hours over 3-5 days.
Responsibilities:

• Design and Creativity: Assist in the creation of visually appealing and effective designs for print and digital media, including but not limited to, presentations, social media graphics, banners, website assets, and other marketing materials.
• • Collaboration: Collaborate with the creative team and other departments to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audiences, ensuring that designs align with the company's branding and messaging.
• Content Creation: Help generate content for various marketing and communication materials, maintaining consistency in style, color, and typography.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) to develop and edit visual content.
• Experience with video/animation is a bonus
• Feedback Incorporation: Actively participate in design critiques and meetings, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance design concepts.
• Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and communicating progress to supervisors.
• Learning and Growth: Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices, seeking opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (or recent graduate).
• Strong proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite is preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for design.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of printing processes and production considerations is a plus.
• Must submit a creative portfolio showcasing design skills and previous work (please include a link or PDF).
