Graphic Design Intern

Are you a student interested in building real-world graphic design experience? Our Marketing team is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Graphic Design Intern for up to 15 hours a week, starting January 2023 through May of 2023 (with the potential to extend through the summer)

Responsibilities:

• The Graphic Design Intern will assist the Senior Creative Designer with the execution of various creative initiatives across all channels. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Collaborating with the Senior Creative Designer and Senior Copywriter to conceptualize creative solutions and translate them across all channels
• Maintaining brand standards and ensure that all creative has a consistent look and feel that supports brand direction
• Providing print, digital and web support in collaboration with the Marketing Team for: Brand – design and edit brand collateral and presentation decks; Web – conduct image searches and size collateral for the website; Social & display – create innovative and unique assets for all social & display channels
• Receiving and implementing feedback from the Senior Creative Designer and VP of Marketing
• Preparing all digital and print materials for distribution
• Assisting with image searching and photo manipulation
• Other responsibilities as directed

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a graphic design program (or related field)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with graphic design programs preferred
• Must be proficient using Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with video and/or animation is a plus
• Strong communication & collaboration skills
• Ability to stay organized while managing several projects; prioritizing workload based on timelines and approvals
• An eye for detail
• A passion for design and a desire to come up with fresh ideas
• Must be at least 18 years of age
