Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Graphic and Landscape Designer for immediate employment in the Ohio Urbanism & Planning Studio.

About this role:

AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The Planning and Urbanism portfolio includes a broad range of urban-based, multidisciplinary public realm projects, such as plazas, streetscapes, parks, waterfronts, infrastructure, urban design plans, master-planning, green infrastructure, and ecological restoration.

The candidate will work closely with project design teams and project landscape architects, architects, managers, and designers to assist in the execution of projects and proposals across Ohio region as well as the greater Midwest. Projects in the studio are design-driven and involve close collaboration with engineers, planners, and other technical consultants.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Performing design and production work within the Urbanism, Planning, and Architectural Practice Studios.
• Developing high quality graphics and other visual materials that support a wide range of design and planning efforts
• Creating high-quality 2-D and 3-D renderings, and diagrams that clearly and beautifully illustrate complex multi-disciplinary designs.
• Supporting multi-disciplinary teams in the development of high-quality presentations, proposals, marketing materials, design reports, and planning studies.
• Supporting the creation of landscape designs, architectural designs, and related details.

AECOM's Buildings + Places practice includes architecture, interiors, building engineering, workplace strategy, business transformation, asset advisory, economics and development planning, master planning, urban planning, and landscape architecture.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or demonstrated equivalency and or/education.
• 2+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in the development of high-quality graphic design and layouts for reports, manuals, design presentations, and presentations.
• Proficiency in developing graphic workflow standards and templates.
• Demonstrated production and digital rendering experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Rhino
• Possesses the skills to generate exceptional two dimensional and three-dimensional design graphics
• Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills
• Possesses the ability to collaborate as part of a diverse studio team
