The Graphic Design Specialist position will take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into designs that will connect with users. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project. The key goals of this position will be to take conceptual ideas and create visual representations, both in physical and electronic media.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for art direction and design of projects from concept, production, completion, and delivery
- Support the visual brand for Advarra as any additional white label products, channel marketing kits, or new entities that are launched or acquired
- Brand Management: Align visual identity with brand positioning and overall narrative that supports Advarra; develop imagery that articulates Advarra solutions in terms of ROI to the customer; work with cross-functional teams on a regular basis to support strategies and incorporate stakeholder feedback
- Ensure that designs meet brand standards guides and resources
- Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with the marketing team to concept and execute best-in-class creative and create marketing materials such as web pages, presentations, collateral, signage, newsletters, and advertising
- Estimate and manage time accurately to maintain project deadlines and budget
- Coordinate with agencies and/or vendors to provide marketing deliverables
- Represent the marketing department to the larger organization in a positive, professional way
Job Requirements
Experience
- 0-2 years of experience supporting functions within a marketing department
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of work
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written (editing and proofreading skills a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
- High attention to detail with accuracy and consistency
- Working knowledge of project management software, such as Asana, Jira, Trello, or Smartsheet
- Knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process, including understanding creative direction, giving timely and helpful feedback, and producing work on schedule
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, while possessing strong organizational skills to work independently
- Experience working with print vendors
- Familiarity with WordPress a plus
- Experience with designing templates for Marketo a plus
- Desire to learn and improve design upon concepts and stay up to date on the latest trends
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
- Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 25 Lbs.
- Learn and comprehend basic instructions
- Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
- Verbal and written communication; listening and understanding, responding and speaking
