Graphic Designer

Vagaro is seeking a creative, ambitious, and driven designer to become part of our customer design team. This role is perfect for a passionate designer with an uncompromising attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will collaborate with Vagaro Pro users and business owners to create effective and one-of-a-kind branding and marketing materials, including gift cards, logos and brand packages, custom websites, and branded apps. This role also includes asset curation and creation, image management, and outreach.

Required: 

• BA or BFA with concentration in Graphic Design (preferred) 

• 1-3 years of graphic design experience in a professional setting 

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop) 

• Solid understanding of good design principles and photography, including composition, typography, and color theory 

• Ability to work in a variety of styles and is open to receiving and implementing feedback 

• Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and prioritize action steps using sound reasoning and judgment 

• Strong communication skills and is able to work well with business owners and other designers 

• Customer service skills and experience 

• Experience with Squarespace, Wix, or other website builders 

• HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus 

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with business owners to develop and create custom branding in alignment the owner’s wants and needs 

• Create unique custom websites, branded apps, and gift cards that coordinate with business’ existing brands 

• Review business portfolio images and Featured businesses to ensure they are consistent with Vagaro’s guidelines 

• Assist businesses with resizing and uploading Venue Gallery, digital Gift Certificate, and Pay Desk screensaver images 

• Create and curate a variety of assets and templates for use within the Vagaro Pro software 

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and create conceptually driven solutions 

• Keep current on digital campaigns, social trends, and industry technology in order to promote new ways of thinking, working, and problem-solving 

• Other duties as assigned
