Description
Responsible for creating brochures, presentations, instruction manuals, and other marketing support materials for Franklin Electric Fueling Systems, Grid Solutions, and EV Systems using graphic design, desktop publishing, and illustration software in both Mac and PC environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Designs and lays out marketing materials.
- Creates and maintains an organized photo resource library.
- Reviews artwork and proofs to ensure accuracy and the overall quality of publications.
- Creates ads for the company's website and other online tools.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Skills and Abilities
- Understands print processes, Internet marketing technologies, and color systems.
- Utilizes creativity; researches and recognizes design trends.
- Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, the general public, and other employees of the organization.
- Writes routine reports and correspondence.
- Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides numbers (using currency and other forms of measurement).
- Utilizes common-sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
- Deals with problems involving several known variables in situations of routine nature.
- Plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work; may also occasionally assist in planning work assignments performed by others within a limited area of operation.
- Frequently makes decisions of both minor and major importance, which may affect the work operations of other employees and/or clientele to a moderate degree.
- Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
- Uses noncomplex machines and equipment (adding machines, calculators, copy/fax machines, etc.).
Education and Experience
- Equivalent of four years of high school (required).
- Associate's degree in graphic design or related field (preferred).
- Two to four years of relevant experience in graphic design (required).
Computer Skills
- Advanced: Adobe creative suite, presentation/PowerPoint, word processing/typing,
- Intermediate: Database, spreadsheet.
- Bonus Skills: CADD software.
