Graphic Design Specialist - Galls Commercialization Design Desk
Galls is changing the marketplace by giving our nation's small businesses and public safety agencies self-serve uniform customization on Galls.com. As the Galls Commercialization Design Desk liaison, you are responsible to provide excellent internal and external customer service to our B2B and B2C customers, field sellers, and internal teams.
What You'll Do:
As the Galls Commercialization Design Desk liaison, specifically, you are responsible to ensure customer artwork, design, digitization (either in house or via a contract resource) and placement are accurate and delivered expediently to delight our customers enhancing theirs and the Galls brand.
- Communicates directly with B2C and B2B customers to gather uniform decoration (patches, emblems, embroidery) requirements and approval.
- Works with internal business partners to ensure accurate customization set up for B2C VAS customers.
- Acts as a Liaison between the customer, sales, and uniform services to refine and develop external art files.
- Consults with customer and sales to make recommendations on most effective and efficient VAS customization options based on uniform specifications and customer needs.
- Collaborate with external and internal partners to create user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing products.
- Conduct research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Create vector files, mockups, silhouettes, and other visual aids using various design tools and software.
- Apply design principles, best practices, and industry standards to ensure consistency, accessibility, and usability across different applications and platforms.
- Communicate design ideas and rationale to stakeholders and customers using effective presentation and storytelling skills.
What You Bring (Experience/Knowledge/Systems/Applications or Equipment):
- Three to five years' experience in graphic design, preferred creating decoration (emblems, embroidery, patches) for uniforms and clothing
- with a minimum bachelor's degree in graphic design, fashion design, human-computer interaction, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Prior sales or customer service experience required.
- Proficient in using design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong portfolio of design projects that demonstrate creativity, problem-solving, and user-centric design approach.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
- Passionate about design and eager to learn new skills and technologies.
- Capable of operating within a fast-paced environment.
- Able to act on limited information and provide multiple creative recommendations to secure customer buy-in.
- Strong efficiency mindset, seeking to optimize efficiency by leveraging existing resources and influence customer buy-in towards existing capabilities.
- Highly adaptive, with the ability to adapt and pivot to changing customer requests quickly.
