Graphic Designer

Position Overview:

As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible for creating visual concepts, designs and layouts that communicate the company's message and brand identity effectively. You will be responsible for typesetting and proofreading designs to produce high quality creative assets that meet project objectives while enhancing overall branding.

Responsibilities:

• Creating proofs for client approval
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines based on company and customer needs in a fast paced environment
• Designing marketing materials, ads, forms, reprints and collateral materials used for sales and promotions; preparing ads and content from print edition to online import
• Creating and managing content for social media platforms
• Producing visually appealing graphics, illustrations and layouts that align with brand guidelines and project requirements
• Ensuring consistency and adherence to brand standards across all design projects
• Collaborating with the marketing team and other departments to understand project goals, target audience and messaging
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback incorporate revisions and ensuring project success
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for visual storytelling and design concepts

• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Experience:

• Minimum of four (4) years graphic design or relevant experience
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts & Communication or equivalent
• Knowledge of technological systems such as but not limited to: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat; Microsoft Office Suite; Mailchimp E-newsletter programs

Schedule:

• 3 days a week
• 8-5am - 1hr lunch
• Flexibility to work holidays base on business needs

Environment:

• Office - approx. 65F - 75F

Skills:

• Physical abilities: Ability to stand, walk and sit throughout your day; Walking on a variety of flooring such as carpet, concrete, tile etc;
• Strong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis
• Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; project management
• Working in a team based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving the highest quality service
