Job Description

Crayon is looking for an imaginative and talented graphic designer to help transform our company's brand. As a member of the marketing team, you'll work side-by-side with demand generation, content marketing, and product marketing to create stunning visuals for all of Crayon's marketing channels.

This position will play a key role in transforming Crayon's brand, with a focus on creating bold and colorful visuals that stand-out in an ocean of boring corporate designs. You will help elevate and unite the brand across multiple platforms, while executing the day-to-day design needs of the marketing organization. This position requires a versatile designer with exceptional attention to detail who can help translate large amounts of information into compelling visuals.

Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, you will have the opportunity to transform the design of a growing software company.

Responsibilities:

  • Create bold, attention grabbing visual designs for the Crayon website, online ads, email campaigns, landing pages, and more!
  • Lead the direction and design of marketing collateral; including e-books, infographics, white papers and other content
  • Liaise with external vendors and design contractors when necessary, providing design guidance and ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Collaborate closely with the whole marketing organization, providing input and design direction that will help us effectively engage our customers and prospects
  • Update and maintain brand standards with consistent and creative branding across all materials
  • Design high-impact presentations for webinars, sales presentations, and speaking engagements

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Bold design language. You're someone with a BOLD design language who will help us transform Crayon's current brand.
  • Draw outside the lines. You are curious in nature, look to utilize Crayon's full color palette, and even want to introduce fun new designs to make our brand stand out.
  • Experience. You have 3+ years of B2B tech design experience. You have designed graphics for the web (ideally have designed and wireframed new website pages), created eye-catching ads, and more.
  • A team player. You're collaborative in nature. You have the ability to work with a variety of teams, gather input and synthesize feedback, and deliver new projects on time.
  • Get Stuff Done. You are motivated, dedicated, and love getting into the details. You actively embrace hard work and obsess about delivering for our customers.
  • High-wattage. You love facing a good challenge, learning new skills, embracing the latest trends in design.
  • Movement and Animation. Experience creating animated visuals is a plus, but not required.
