Job Description

Are you an experienced Graphic Designer with a portfolio that includes a wide range of projects and media, using various programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals? Do you love creating designs that bring a pitch deck to life? How about seeing your design come to life on a mobile activation? We're looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to bring our visions to reality.

RESPONSIBILITIES ACCOUNTABILITIES

The job responsibilities of our Graphic Designer include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and develop marketing materials in support of sales, and new & existing client concepts
  • Design Aardvark brand files for web, social, content and more
  • Understand project requirements
  • Collaborate with team members, pitch creative ideas and launch projects
  • Use various design techniques to create drafts, models and prototypes
  • Produce final, print ready, design solutions (e.g. logos, banners, web layouts)
  • Take on special design tasks (e.g. color correction, 3D renderings)
  • Coordinate with agencies, designers, marketing, printers, and other vendors as necessary
  • Use feedback from Creative Director and others to improve

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills / Attitude Required:

  • 5-7 years experience in a graphic design role
  • Agency experience
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with latest design techniques
  • Understanding of visual elements (layout, typography, fonts, photography)
  • A keen eye for detail and visual composition
  • Time management and multitasking abilities
  • Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude
  • Demonstrable design skills and portfolio of past work required
  • Comfort with very direct communication and feedback
  • Proven ability to "get stuff done"

  • Experiential marketing experience is a plus
  • You have a proven track record of generating effective creative that drives results

Salary - $70,000-$85,000 per year

This position is based in the Philly area; candidates must live in the area or be open to relocation. This is an on-site position that will report to the VP of Marketing.
