Graphic Designer

The graphic designer is charged with determining the best ways for us to visually represent our company's creative products for e-commerce. In this role, you will be involved in the development of high-level creative concepts support in various online marketing initiatives, including social media. It also involves working with internal and external teams on projects, including identity systems, banner ads, social campaigns, email marketing, and other digital assets as requested; print collateral, and exhibit design projects.

Responsibilities:

• Developing brand strategy and providing creative concepts and crafts campaigns for new product launches, often with several iterations of content to satisfy requirements of multiple e-commerce sites, brand pages, brand website, social media and other digital collateral.
• Produce high-quality branding, sales, and marketing materials, including: presentation decks, business pitches and proposals, catalogs, brochures, buying guides, packaging, retail displays, editorial layouts, style guides, digital campaigns, presentation spaces and event collateral
• Solving product related design and styling problems in creative, timely, and efficient ways across all brands, categories and channels
• Build innovative, client-specific materials focused on winning new business: custom pitch books, effective proposals, posters, brochures, interactive presentation decks
• Ensuring effective and efficient coordination between team and client creative inputs.
• Work closely with the team to visually explain data findings, including infographics.
• Write and present cohesive and persuasive rationales for campaign creative approaches, including page layout, presentation design, icon creation and photo editing.
• Work within the Kraus team on marketing materials and other collateral.
• Manage design projects in collaboration with internal team and advise on the practical application of graphic design as a tool of visual communication.
• Assist with the artistic input and design for print materials, video contents and social media products.
• Collect/provide requirements for website wireframes and mockups to web developers
• Contribute organization and planning for creative team to optimize resources and produce quality and timely out puts.
• Guide the cycles of campaign development from the initial brainstorming, creative approaches and analysis of available market researches, to the different phases of production development and implementation.
• Craft and develop the production of a wide variety of assets using different mediums including editable templates that teams can customize. This will require comfort with transferring designs into PowerPoint software.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, corporate policies, and style guides.
• Build typographic compositions, conversions and manipulation of photographs and illustrations, using a variety of reprographic techniques, computer software, and materials.
• Select and edit photos for publication.
• Ensure adherence to production deadlines, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual art or related field or equivalent. experience/education.
• At least 2 years of visual design and video editing experience
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, video editing and web limitations; must have the ability to storyboard or translate ideas to team members
• A proven working knowledge of experience design, brand development, and creative process
• Solid knowledge of Adobe collections, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, in addition to an understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Customer and service orientation must be high, combined with professional maturity and judgment to suggest different approaches where appropriate.
• Experience collaborating with diverse individuals and multiple ideas on projects.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
